During production at our factory in Iserlohn, the strip material is twisted to create the typical curb chain appearance, reminiscent of a tightly woven stitch. Round-link chains are among the strongest types of chain, and their closely interwoven links make this type of collar particularly suitable for short-coated dog breeds.
We produce curb chains in different materials, wire thicknesses and designs (classic curb chains with round links or flat-ground links for extra shine), as well as a variety of styles (martingale collars or choke collars).

Our stainless steel chains are also more durable thanks to their solid, rust-resistant material – making them more sustainable, safer thanks to their high breaking strength, and significantly easier to maintain than conventional nylon or leather collars.

Made from 2 mm thick stainless steel, the chain with article number 50882-57 withstands wind and weather even on long walks and is ideal for dogs that love water.
Like the assembly chain, the collar has round links and features a sturdy ring (also made from stainless steel) for attaching the leash. The integrated assembly chain makes the collar easy to put on and provides a limited-pull function, meaning it meets all requirements for dog equipment that complies with animal welfare standards and offers additional security for dogs that try to slip out of their collar in extreme situations.

Not sure which wire thickness is right for your four-legged companion? Round-link collars made from 2 mm wire are particularly suitable for medium-sized dogs such as Dachshunds, Boston Terriers and Jack Russell Terriers.

For the black stainless steel version, the surface of the material is blackened using a galvanic process and then polished. As this is not a permanent coating, friction during use will create an attractive, antique-style patina.

We therefore recommend a CUROGAN collar for dogs with very light or white coats to reduce the risk of coat discolouration.
