The snuffle ball has several features worth highlighting. It is made from pieces of fleece joined together to form a ball. Unlike a snuffle mat, which lies flat on the floor, the snuffle ball can roll. This makes scent games even more interesting for your dog, as they have to follow the rolling ball filled with treats.

This toy works in much the same way as a snuffle mat. Place dog treats between the tightly interwoven pieces of fabric. To get them out, your dog needs to sniff inside the ball. When they touch it with their nose, the ball moves. This adds an extra challenge, so if your dog gets discouraged easily, start by hiding the treats closer to the surface. As the ball rolls, treats will begin to fall out on their own, encouraging your dog to keep playing.
