Natura MaltDigest Paste 100 ml – a malt paste specially formulated to prevent and eliminate hairballs in cats. During grooming, cats swallow hair which, over time, can form hairballs in the digestive tract, causing partial or complete blockages. If a hairball passes through the stomach and reaches the intestines, it can calcify and block the intestine. This problem frequently occurs in long-haired cats, but short-haired cats that groom themselves often may also vomit hairballs formed in the stomach.

The best way to prevent hairballs is to use Natura MaltDigest paste, which not only prevents constipation but also helps hair pass gently out of the stomach and intestines through the faeces, before it forms hairballs.

The MOS (Mannan-Oligosaccharide) in the paste has a prebiotic effect, promoting the growth of beneficial gut bacteria and reducing harmful bacteria. This helps your cat make better use of the nutrients in their food and strengthens the immune system.

Directions for use:

Natura MaltDigest Paste is given orally. Apply it to your cat's paw; its pleasant flavour encourages them to lick it off.

• To prevent hairball formation: apply 2-3 cm of paste to the paw 2-3 times a week.

• To eliminate existing hairballs: 2-3 cm daily.

This product is recommended for cats of all ages, especially those with long coats or a tendency to swallow excessive amounts of hair.
