During production at our factory in Iserlohn, the strip material is twisted to create the characteristic curb chain appearance, reminiscent of a tightly woven stitch. Chains with round links are among the strongest types of chain, and their closely interwoven links make this type of collar particularly suitable for short-coated dog breeds.

We produce curb chains in different materials, wire thicknesses and designs (classic curb chains with round links or flat-ground links for extra shine), as well as a variety of styles (martingale collars or choke collars).

Our CUROGAN chains are also more durable thanks to their solid, rust-resistant material – making them more sustainable, safer thanks to their high breaking strength, and significantly easier to maintain than conventional nylon or leather collars. As the collar needs to slip over your dog's head, you should also take head circumference into account when choosing the right size. For dogs whose head circumference is significantly larger than their neck circumference, we recommend collars with a ClicLock fastener or SPRENGER hook.

Our CUROGAN chains are particularly suitable for dogs with light-coloured coats or nickel allergies. The material darkens over time and develops an antique appearance, but causes much less coat discolouration than stainless steel.

Not sure which wire thickness is right for your four-legged companion? Round-link collars made from 3 mm wire are particularly suitable for medium-sized dogs, such as Australian Cattle Dogs, Beagles or Dalmatians.
